Will I experience pain?

The treatment involves a sudden increase in temperature, so it's likely you will feel some discomfort, like a sharp sensation, similar to an injection. However, each dose only lasts 2 seconds, so your discomfort will quickly subside.

How many treatments are required?

It will depend on the severity of the wart and your immune system response to the treatment, but generally, three treatments are required to successfully treat the wart. These treatments are spaced four weeks apart.

Can you only treat warts on the feet?

No, we can actually treat any warts you may have from the elbows to your hands and from your knees down to the feet.

How else could I treat warts?

Liquid Nitrogen — this burns the wart and has a success rate of 45%
Salicylic acid — success rate is 13%
Laser — requires a local anesthetic injection and has a success rate of 79%
Cutterage — a podiatrist will surgically remove the wart. The success rate is 65%-85% but scarring and recurrence occur in up to 30% of patients
